Structural Composition of Gate
The gate mainly consists of three parts:
The main movable part is used to close or open the orifice, commonly known as the gate, also known as the door leaf.
(2) buried part;
(3) Opening and closing equipment.
The movable part includes weighing structure such as panel beam system, supporting moving parts, guiding and water stopping devices and lifting lugs, etc. The buried parts include the main rail, guide rail, hinge seat, lintel, bottom sill, water stop and so on. They are buried around the orifice. They are firmly connected with the concrete of the hydraulic structure with anchor bars to form supporting parts and water stop surface on the gate blade respectively, so as to transfer the water pressure and other loads on the gate blade structure to the hydraulic structure and obtain good water stop performance of the gate. The lifting and closing mechanism is connected with the lifting lug of the door blade to operate and control the position of the moving part, but a few gates are opened and closed by means of hydraulic automatic control.
